Lydia's Arm

Well, here's the deal. Lydia broke her arm all the way through and she had to have an operation this afternoon to fix it. Before the operation, she was drilling the doctors and asking them all kinds of questions about the anesthesia and IV and what they were gonna do to her bones. She was so nervous! But, she did just fine. Now, she's got a big ol' cast on it and a sling and I think she's feeling much better!

Here are a couple pictures of us at the hospital and in the waiting room...

You can't even tell that her arm was hurtin her like crazy! She was so tough!
Big smile!!

Almost time for the operation...You can't tell, but she was very nervous...
Here she is all ready to go!

And here's Mrs. Donna, Natalie LaCombe's mom who works at the hospital and took care of Lydia!

Well, it's been a long day...hopefully tomorrow will be a little better! And hopefully Mom and Lydia can get some sleep tonight. Last night, Lydia couldn't get comfy to go to sleep and Mom was sleeping with her and so Mom couldn't get to sleep either....

Tomorrow, I might be going to get my hair cut and I'm real excited!!! It should be very cute! I can't wait!
